Don't Practice Law in a Vacuum

Dicta is a private Slack community for vetted solo and small firm lawyers seeking peers, collaboration, and opportunities to grow.

Why This Exists

Too many solo and small firm lawyers operate without a sounding board. No hallway chats, no partner meetings. Decisions on both cases and firm operations are often made in isolation, with too little analysis or feedback after the fact to know what’s working and what's failing. Dicta exists to make your practice less solitary and support more accessible by connecting you to a private, focused community of peers who know the struggle.

What You'll Find Here

This isn’t another listserv. It’s a place to trade ideas, get unstuck, and grow your practice with the help of other solo and small firm lawyers without waiting hours (or days) for replies.
